I tweaked my shoulder benching and for months I just avoided anything that hurt. It didn't get better, it got weaker, and I was scared to train upper body at all. Then I started training over Zoom with someone who actually watched me move. We started stupidly light, bands and rotator cuff work, and built back from there, adjusting anything that flared it. Months later I'm pressing again without pain and my shoulder feels more solid than before I got hurt. I just needed someone to guide the comeback instead of guessing.
