I come from a background in IT. I'm a software engineer and when I became a mom, I didn't have that much time to, I didn't want to devote so much time to programming. It's very time-consuming and stressful. So I wanted to switch careers. So I started training every day and getting to know, you know, because again, my background is engineering. I, right away, become interested in the logic or the science behind everything. So then I became certified and I started applying everything that I learned to my training, seeing great results.

After I became certified in different areas in sports nutrition, in functional training, training training and all this. Then I also became I wanted to get certified in the US. So I saw that NASM was the most prestigious certification in the United States. So I became certified with them. My first approach is always to work on core. I think core is the base of everything else. So then if I have a strong core, I can have a strong squat or I can progress in everything else. If I don't have a strong core, I can do anything else. I spent maybe a quarter or more of the third of the session working on core. Like either blanks and crunches and all different things. And also a lot of imbalance and stability.

Of course, I look for their certifications, how much experience they have. The actual certification tells me a little bit about them, but because we have so many international with all our trainers are from different countries. I don't know all the places they get certified in. I don't know if they're going there bad, how long the certification is for. I look that they have experience that they've been in the fitness field for a while. I also look if they're in good shape or if they have social media that they, like they're, they look the part, right? Like they are trainers and that they feel passionate about what they do. It's not just that they're teaching, but they're actually is a way of life. And then when I meet them, you can tell right away if they have experience because of the way they talk to you. They talk to people. They're charming. They're very inviting. They had to be educators, motivators. They had to know what they're talking about. They have so many roles as a trainer without person. And also they had to be people's person because they have to be able to talk to people from different gender ages. So they have to be able to attract invite people to train and to, you know, keep showing up.

I learned with time to, as much as you want to create a connection with your client, you want to stay within the limits of, like, that is because people become very attached to you as a trainer sometimes. Also some are very emotional about what they want to achieve or, you know, injury or weight loss or something that you truly affect their lives. But you've got to learn that you had to stay within the limits of that, that you said professional relationship at the end. And now cross that line of, of becoming to involve or then that you can have different, different conflict because of personnel is or whatever it is. Maybe somebody didn't like a comment I made or somebody was upset frustrated because they maybe didn't achieve what they wanted in the time that they wanted, But you got to learn that you had to detach yourself from it. And that's okay. You can respond in a professional way or you can explain what happened. And again, become very not personal about it.

I guess this AI thing will be big. Because again, they will develop something that I guess they will match some kind of motivator person or thing with somebody speaking or talking to any messages. Because it's a mix between an offline plan, something you follow, but with some of a human factor that that keeps you engaged. And also they do a lot of the thing where they kind of pretend to scan your body or give you stats about things that people are always drawn to. But behind the machine an AI that says that a lot of things that humans usually wouldn't tell you that. So I guess that there will mix all the info that is available on Google and everywhere else to fill you with with things that keep you coming. But in general, the fitness industry is growing tremendously. It's the most people running in all the marathons in the world. Like, like beating any record people are running the fastest in the whole history of human running. And then everybody's moving. So everybody's training and they say like there's no one to buy it or to you know you have to actually train. So the future to me is in fitness.

I was always pushing for more new things, trying to talk to the other trainers. And we saw also good results in some of the things that I was proposing. And then I became, you know, more of a manager of the rest of the trainers. But I'm still a trainer. I'm still in contact with clients training all the time. So I always stay in touch with that side. I think it's important to, you know, as you're leading a group of people to be part of that. To always know what they need and be able to be a better manager or leader to them.
